Collars
A collar for a sighthound is not just any collar. The long neck and slim head mean standard pet store collars are either too tight or slip off over the head. That's why sighthounds wear martingale collars — dynamic-fit collars that sit loose when relaxed and gently tighten on leash pull, never slipping off.

Collar types at 77dogs:
Martingale (sighthound-friendly):
Double loop with limited tightening. Guaranteed slip-protection without choking risk. Recommended for every sighthound, especially rescues.
Leather collars:
Natural cowhide, hand-stitched. Perfect for elegant outings, city walks, photo shoots. They patina with age — only get better.
Fabric collars:
Lighter, in a richer color palette. Match with bandanas and leashes. Quick-drying — not afraid of rain or mud.
Personalization:
We can engrave your dog's name and your phone number on a metal tag. Permanently attached — no risk of losing it during baths or bush-diving.
Sizes:
Measure your dog's neck (under the jaw, with room for a finger between the collar and skin). Our collars adjust +/- 5 cm from the nominal size.
Safety:
Aluminum (light) or brass (premium) buckles. Triple stitching. Tested to 50 kg pull — a sighthound has zero chance of breaking one.
